The tuition at Marin Horizon is set each year to support a budget that allows Marin Horizon to operate a program that is aligned with its mission. The yearly budget allows our school to retain and hire experienced teachers that shape our students, deliver an academic program that in unparalleled, and maintain the financial strength of the school.
Toddler and Primary tuition varies by number of days. The tuition includes all academic fees, books, technology and outdoor education trips.

An annual refundable capital deposit of $1,000 per enrolled student is required from families with students in Primary through 7th grades. Capital deposits are waived for those families who receive a tuition assistance award.
Process / Timelines
Step 1: 索引的学费 Application - January 12, 2024
Marin Horizon School’s 索引的学费 program is designed to make a Marin Horizon education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. We use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, 收入, 费用, 和债务. The deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents is January 12, 2024.
Step 2: Clarity App Steps
To get started, please go to the Clarity Application 然后创建一个 账户. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time.
- Start with household and applicant information.
- Select that you are applying to Marin Horizon School.
- Sign and submit a Form 4506c to give Clarity permission to pull your prior year tax returns.

- Enter financial information, including 收入, 费用, assets, 和债务.
Note: Marin Horizon may require additional documents in addition to last year’s taxes.
申请费 - At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, but you can share you application with other additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge.
Clarity Application Support - If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@claritytuition.com or 206-210-3752, in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.
Late Applications
Requests for tuition assistance that are filed after the deadlines will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Your indexed tuition / assistance is awarded for one year, but unless there is a significant change in annual 收入 or available assets, you can expect the approximate level of assistance to be continued from year to year. Parents must complete a Person al Financial Statement each year using Clarity with the annual application deadlines.
